Every nonprofit should register voters!

It’s a little-known fact that federal law allows nonprofits to register voters. Yes, I’m talking about 501(c)(3)'s.

Why is this important? Because laws are made by elected officials at the city, county, state, and federal level. And those laws impact the people served by nonprofits.

In addition, government funding can be a significant part of a nonprofit’s budget. The more clients/patrons you have registered in your area, the greater political power you have as an organization.

To learn more, go to NonprofitVote.org or listen to my Nonprofit SnapCast episode with Mickey Desai.

If you’d like to know more about what your nonprofit can do to exercise political power, listen to this second podcast episode I recorded with Mickey on Spotify or Apple Podcasts. You can also go to my website for FREE RESOURCES that will educate you and your board members about what you CAN DO!
